Hail and well met. I'm guild leader/webmaster for Order of the Ravenclaw (Najena), and stumbled upon your website while catching up on RosterMaster development....
Outstanding design and implementation.
I've been using DotNetNuke to run our site for the past year it seems. I moved to it due to cross module authentication issues I had on our old phpnuke site (probably due to my lack of experience). I intend on building another server to move us back to php so that I can once again use Roster Master. The additions you have here with the key and HQ trackers are outstanding. The TS module built into the site is also something that I have no way of doing with DNN.
WebMaster - If you have time, I would be gratefull for any time you have available to answer a few questions and point me in the proper direction you used on this site. Your implementation captures perfectly what I had hoped to bring my guild through our website.
Thanks, and Good Hunting!

Shahksah,
Thanks for dropping by, and for the kind words. All of the software you see running on the site is open-source, and available to the public at no charge.
The centerpiece is of course the CMS, Dragonfly, which forms the application framework. I'm a member of the debugging team there.
I've written quite a bit of software for Dragonfly to support the guild site here. Roster Master runs as a Dragonfly module, as does the Teamspeakdisplay tracker. FAQs are organized using a heavily modified version of the Content module, called Content (Enhanced). You can find information on all 3 modules in the menu to the left, under "Projects". For blocks, there's the EverQuest II Update Notes Block, which a lot of folks like.
Another Roster Master user has released Guild Event Manager which leverages off Roster Master's tables.
I certainly hope you do switch to Dragonfly, I feel it's a really good piece of work. I really consider it the highest compliment when folks consider Roster Master a primary reason to switch their entire CMS.

Tessil & Dark Grue,
Thanks for the emails and direction. If you take a quick peek at our current homepage Order of the Ravenclaw, you'll see what I've got up and running so far. Being the pain seeker that I am, I've decided to give it a go running 2k3 R2 Enterprise, IIS6, Sql 2k5 Express, and PHP 5.2. Brief glimpses show that I'm in for a bit of frustration, but that's not out of the ordinary. I ran pretty much the same config for ASP/DNN when I got our server up on that flavor a year ago.
Will keep you posted as to my progress - hopefully I'll have it up and functional this weekend.
Last questionfor now - what and where do you prefer props posted for the code on my site? Gotta help spread the word!
- Shah
