It's like a sundial, only indoors!

There are three rings of LEDs around the clock face: red, green, and blue. The cast a shadow onto the clock face that make the hour, minute, and seconds hands, respectively. As time advances, the lit LEDs move across the preiphery of the clock face in order to cast the correct shadow.
It works indoors without sunlight since it brings it's own "suns". The linked page goes to the project's homepage, which shows some of the construction steps as well as a movie of the clock in motion.
This clock's apparently become my office's favorite so far (I now have 3 of the 4 clock kits I've built on my desk at work).

"A man with too many clocks never knows exactly what time it is."
