Folks have probably what I've been doing when I've been going to IDPA matches. The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) (or you can try the Wikipedia link, which has a pretty good summary of the sport) is a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real life encounters.

This weekend, I used a Burris ShotCam to record one of the six stages, in particular, one that didn't require drawing from a holster, since I don't have a holster that will fit my pistol with the camera attached.

In this stage, the scenario is you are working on your car on a creeper, your pistol and ammo is in a "tool box" in front of you. You start on your back, sit up, and must retrieve your pistol (pulling the cord that represents the drawer handle and setting the swinging targets in motion), load and address the targets in front of you. The moving targets are "no shoots" (hostages).

The video came out pretty good, as you can see. I wish I'd gone ahead and taped more of the stages...
